September has been a grind higher in classic stair-step fashion.

A clean breakout from the September 5 and 9th longs (closed for 170/140 pts yesterday) was followed by days of chop.

This is where thin structure punished every chase and knifed through every shallow dip.

We needed yesterday.

Yesterday’s FOMC meeting sparked the volatility we’ve been waiting for.

ES flushed to 6628 in the first reaction, then ripped to 6676 in minutes, finally giving us clean traps to work with.
