Inside the Core Strategy, the focus is on FBDs and LTBs.
They’re the backbone of almost every trade I take.
But, I often get asked this:
Do these setups work outside of ES?
The short answer is this...
My focus is ES.
That’s 95% of my trading.
I don't pretend to be an expert in every market.
But the "market" consists of people.
And people aren't very different across assets.
The tendencies are similar in behavior.
What I've found is this. (It's exactly what I do)
When the structure is clean, LTBs can work really well on higher timeframes in other markets.
I used one I recently in Silver Futures /SIZ25.
Brief Rapid Fire Context:
Back on August 28, Silver broke out of its $36–$40 range and pushed up to $42.
From Sept 4 to Sept 11, it based tightly, building structure with key areas at 41.15 and 41.67.
Then on Sept 11, it launched the next leg higher, running to 43.50 before stalling.
Over the next two days, price tracked back into the 41.67 level.
The exact breakout base.
RSI stayed over 60, the pullback was decisive, and the structure was intact.
That’s exactly what an LTB should look like on approach.
→ I bought 41.67 on Sept 17.
→ Target 1 was hit at 42.81 Sept 19 (of course 60% came off 😊)
Remember, most trends continue.
Same rules.
Different market.
Cheers,
